Whiter Nails? YES WE CAN !

Want whiter nails but don't want to spend tones of money in a manicure?
Guess what? I found a home-made way to do it. Quick, simple and effective !

I’ve long heard that using lemon juice can help to whiten your nail tips but I’ve never tried until recently. Nails absorb any nail polish colour you paint on them this is why it is recomended to use a base coat before painting your nails.
My other trick would only be to paint my nails in white and the colour would just go through but to those that this doesn't work here is my other trick:

Some home remedies:

  • Scrub your nails with common toothpaste. This removes the stains and brings a shine on the nails.
  • Lemon helps in removing the stains. Soak your nails in water with lemon or lemon slices.

How to whiten yellow nails:

  • With the help of a nail polish remover, remove the old nail polish thoroughly and then wash your hands with soap and water.
  • Use a nail polish brush to scrub over and under the nails and then pat the hands dry with a soft towel or you can always use an old tooth brush, it should do the job.
  • Take one tablespoon lemon juice and one tablespoon baking powder and mix them well forming a paste. Now apply a small dot of this paste on the centre of each fingernail.
  • With the help of a buffer, gently buff your nails but don't overdo.
  • Now wash your hands again and pat them dry. Then massage them with hand cream. When the nails are completely dry, apply two coats of nail polish and you should be good to go !

Other trick which also involves lemon is simply rubbing it in for three minutes in your nails, by then you should be able to see some results already and you will be amazed how quick it works !
To obtain the desired whitened tone of nails just follow the same process day after day. However, your nails might feel a lot rouger because of the abrasiveness so don't forget to keep hidrating your hands. But otherwise, it should be kind of fun doing this because the baking soda actually sizzles on contact with the lemon juice and the smell is also very refreshingPlus the citric acid in the lemon juice has anti-bacterial effects!
There are many ways to whiten your nail tips, other one might just be by purchasing whitening kits which will do the same as the lemon and baking powder.

Yours Truly,MJ
